FHM’s favorite beach beauty heats up the spring break party circuit

“I don’t know anyone who hasn’t had a wild spring break,” says model/actress Nikki Ziering. “But it seems like it gets wilder every year!”

As star of National Lampoon’s Spring Break, bombshell Nikki knows what she’s talking about when it comes to sun-filled debauchery. Here, the beauty of the beach gives FHM Online the lowdown on the movie, Vegas strip clubs, and how to win big on The Price is Right.

You’ve worked on some really funny movies, including American Wedding. How much fun did you have on the set of that movie?
American Wedding was an incredibly fun shoot. A funny thing happened the day I was scheduled to meet with the movie executives at the Plaza Hotel. I showed up and there was a guy in a tuxedo with a tray of mimosas and he asked, “Are you here for the wedding?” I thought he said “American Wedding” so I said yes. I took a mimosa and I joined these people in the banquet room where I introduced myself as the dominatrix/cop/stripper from the bachelor party. I was getting weird reactions and I wondered where the cast was. I thought maybe I was the first one there and these were all Universal execs. I finally realized I was at the Greenberg/Longstein wedding. I was at a Jewish wedding introducing myself as the dominatrix/cop/stripper from the bachelor party!

You were a Barker girl. What’s it like behind the scenes at The Price is Right?
It was great! I remember when I was 7 years old telling my mother I was going to be on that show when I grew up. It was ironic that 20 years later the show was still on and I actually got to do it. It was really surreal. The contestants on the show were absolutely insane, but it was so much fun.

What’s Bob Barker like?
He’s very professional. He had some lawsuits against him for sexual harassment, but he’s not the pervert that everyone thinks he is. He’s a great host and he does his job very well.

Any insider tips for how to get on The Price is Right?
It’s a lot of luck. But there is a secret to getting picked.

You’re about to reveal the greatest secret known to man? Right?
You need to show up in a large group, wear T-shirts and act as crazy as you can. They pick people who are going to perform. When the producers are interviewing all the contestants before the show, that’s when you want to act as nutty as possible. They’re going to pick the most standout, crazy people who are there.

Lately, you’ve been landing more acting roles. Are you going to stick with comedy or do you plan on trying your hand at non-comedic parts?
I’m getting ready to shoot a film called Forbidden. It’s about an all girls singing group. It’s sort of like a murder mystery. I play a con artist. I’m really excited because it’s a character I haven’t gotten the chance to play yet. It’s going to show a different dimension of what I can do.

Your new DVD National Lampoon’s Spring Break is pretty wild. What was the craziest thing you saw?
The wildest things I would see were literally girls getting naked and having sex with each other right on a boat in front of everybody.

What’s your best spring break experience?
Well, of course, it was back in my partying days at Lake Havasu. The group of friends I was with, we needed beer money. We found out about this “hot legs” contest and I entered it and won $500. I was the hero of spring break.

You’re a regular on Howard Stern. Is he the same person both on and off the air?
Howard Stern is a genius because he’s created this really entertaining persona that’s really not his personality at all. When he goes home he’s completely different. He’s so into his daughters. He’s really someone who can be a great friend—he’s intelligent, loving, sweet, and sincere.

How does he get so many girls naked?
I’ve always been so fascinated by it. Girls can’t wait to go on his show and get naked and completely humiliate themselves. People have always asked me, “Why do you do that show?” He’s always been very respectful to me. You don’t have to do anything you don’t want to do. You go in there, have fun and entertain the listener. The truth is, he reaches out to such a huge market. It’s such great promotion to do his show. I think he’s awesome. I love that guy.

You played a stripper in American Wedding. Have you ever been to a strip club?
Yes, in Vegas. I love them. I find that the girls would rather dance for other girls than for men.

Have you gotten lap dances?
Yeah.

Have you ever tried your hand at pole dancing?
No, I haven’t, but I really want to try. I think it would be so much fun. The way they twist around on there—it’s a talent. Those girls work hard!

National Lampoon’s Spring Break comes out on DVD March 13.
