Number 13 - The Veronicas

Jessica and Lisa Origliasso are the feisty twins who make up Australian electro-rock band, The Veronicas. You’ll notice how neither of the girls are actually called ‘Veronica’ – the band name was part influenced by the film Heathers, starring elfin, kleptomaniac, Winona Ryder and the Archie Comics character, Veronica Lodge. Who cares – it’s easier than trying to pronounce their surname.

So young, yet so outspoken, the twins have voiced their opinion on everything from gay marriage to animal rights. And you can bet your ass they won’t shut up now; what with world domination at their feet. Their first album in 2005 went quadruple platinum, and since then they’ve won a whole host of awards, topped the charts around the world, been blasted over our TV screens with cameos on 90210 and created their own fashion range. Phew!

Are these girls in danger of being overexposed? Of course they are. Jess has already had alleged topless photos leaked onto the web. But having just shot them for FHM (come back soon for the results), we’re not convinced of their veracity. But bring on the controversy anyway!
