Girls of FHM

Emily Scott

PICTURE 1 OF 13
Prepare to be blown away by this Aussie stunner

In case you’re not familiar with Emily Scott, let us be the first to introduce you to this Australian stunner. The 23-year-old first gained fame as a swimwear and lingerie model before landing on magazine covers around the world. Now, FHM sits down with the green-eyed beauty to find out why even bald, aging action stars have a shot with her.

You’ve appeared in magazines around the world. How does it feel to be famous?
Well, I hardly ever get recognized. First time was probably when I was flying back from London earlier this year and a random guy on the plane recognized me.

You better get used to your newfound fame—this has been a huge year for you.
Well, it all really started when I did my first shoot for a bikini designer in Australia. Then I came over here to London, did the shoot for FHM and then landed on the reality TV show Celebrity Love Island last August—and from there things really took off.

And you were a lifeguard before you became a model, right?
I was, Baywatch style, running in slow motion and all that. I actually started because all the cute guys were there. I learned how to do mouth-to-mouth, rescue people if they drowned, and . . .

. . . hold on, mouth-to-mouth? How many “drowning men” suddenly found their way onto your beach?
You know, I never actually saved someone’s life. But I could.

And is it true you could have been an Olympic gymnast?
If I had kept up the training I could have gone to Atlanta in 1996. The trainer was this Chinese lady who took charge of all the rough diamonds, but it got to the point where I was going to have to leave my family. And she used to nail us. You would be lying on the floor, one hand on one ankle above your head, one on the floor, bawling your eyes out. I hated her so much. Although I can still do the splits . . . .

Is your life all guest-lists, pro athletes and limos these days?
Not really. I like to drink at home, then hit a bar, then go to a club. Isn’t that what you guys do?

Yes, but we don’t get attacked by paparazzi and guys with lame pick-up lines.
Neither do I! I’ve never been hit up by the paparazzi when I’m on my own. You think you’d like it but when it comes to it, it’s going to be pain.

You are originally from Australia but you now live in London. What’s the biggest difference when it comes to English men?
English men are a little bit more traditional, and I like it. Everybody takes care of you, and guys and girls can be more like friends, talk like we are now, and that’s what I like best.

What about rumors that Brits are boring in the sack?
Oh no, I wouldn’t say that’s true in my experience. Definitely not!

This shoot looks fantastic. Are you a big fan of your own body?
I’m really into my tattoos! I want more. I like Japanese and Chinese art, pale blue kind of stuff. I’ve got a love heart behind my ear and this one on my wrist. They’re hot.

You’re single again now—how can a guy score a date with you?
Ah, you can never tell who you’re going to fall for. Even when I was a kid, I didn’t have a typical heartthrob. I’ve had a totally random collection of boyfriends.

Do you have a celebrity crush on any famous heartthrobs nowadays?
For me, it’s Bruce Willis. He’s just not going away! Yes, you can be old, losing your hair and still get me.
